#Google drive download speed update
Overall, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to fine tune my settings to better update my files to my NAS and Google Drive, or if I am just stuck with the insanely slow speeds I have. To download a file stored on Google Drive, use the files.get method with the ID of the file to download and the altmedia URL parameter. For added context, I am using a Buffalo LS220D and my desktop has Gigabit ethernet capability. Perhaps it is just the speed to Google Drive that is the issue, but I notice that the speeds to my NAS should be faster too. However, it is still extremely slow despite having Gigabit Ethernet connections. I am currently updating 460GB of files to my Google Drive, as before I started using FFS it was hell to upload that many files to Google Drive over a browser, but now with FFS it is super simple. I ended up donating to try out the Donation Edition to utilize the parallel operations setting in hopes it would increase the speeds, but it seems to have had no effect (Even if I increase the parallel operations to anywhere between 5 or 20 operations.).

I al able to get quite fast speeds using FFS when syncing/updating files to all of these storage devices, except Google Drive (My NAS is still pretty slow though, only 20MB/s, and Google Drive gets only 4MB/s).
